Storm Stacey Pickup Truck Picked Up at Isle of Man TT
Just minutes after getting off the boat, Storm Stacey had his pickup truck stolen on his way to the TT. One of the few people who can really rock a top hat, the North West 200 champion and BSB star found himself without his car at the Isle of Man TT after police seized his truck.
Due to major climate delays, Storm Stacey is on the island for race week at the TT, an event not able to move forward. But, as the 23-year-old racer said, the climate at the TT wasn’t the as it were issue; Stacey’s truck was expelled since it was considered perilous and needed wheels lawful for utilize on the street.
Stacey has said he may have a shinning street hustling career having regularly taken an interest in BSB in later seasons, particularly taking after his triumph at the North West 200 final month.
Though he won two races, the Manx government’s acts could temper his love for road racing. Still, we are talking about one of the most energetic motorcycle racers worldwide, not just in the UK, whose social media update about the crash suggests he might not be overly upset by the event.
On a social media post, Stacey said:
The Manx police claiming my pickup is hazardous and not fit for the road because the wheels stick out beyond the arches made for quite a night.
This is just a cautionary concern in the UK. Though the Manx police chose to aggravate the issue, a simple fix would have been just recording it for correction and a fine before I was sent on my way.
Though I’m quite disappointed, I think there is no such thing as negative press. Still, the Manx police let me down a lot; that is what it is. Hoping everyone has a wonderful TT.
Ahead of Tuesday’s triple-header, which finally only featured one of the scheduled three events due to bad weather once more, Stacey arrived on the Isle of Man on Monday. This week we will offer more details on the TT results together with any extra delays that might happen.
